Short Videos to Spice Up Your School Counseling Program

Videos are a great way to engage your students in your school. I created one this year to introduce myself to my students.
This video was used as a way for me to advertise the Dangers of Technology Parent night that we held last week. I posted on the school's Facebook page "Somebody hacked Mr. Elsmore's phone..." The parents got a kick out of it and we had 78 parents attend.
This video was made to make more parents aware of our Grief Group that we are offering this year. I posted on our school's Facebook page with the comment "We may need to repair the leak in Mr. Elsmore's Office..." I like to find ways to catch their attention, and It is working. We have more students signing up for the group that need it.
This is a screen cast from my phone showing how I was able to make these videos using Facebook.
Do you have any ideas on how you will use these videos for your school counseling program?

Please share in the comments!

I would love to learn new ways and get new ideas on how to engage my students.
